• Each campaign as its own pair of protagonists, mixing returning characters with old characters, including Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Ada Wong, Jake Muller, Helena Harper, Piers Nivans, and Sherry Birkin
• Investigate the sources of the bioterrorist attack and uncover the truth behind the outbreak as Leon S. Kennedy and Helena Harper
• Fight off the virus' outbreak on all fronts in the city of Lanshiang with Chris Redfield and fellow BSAA member Piers Nivans
• Guide wanted man Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin as they try to escape powerful forces that know how valuable is his special blood line is
• Infiltrate important locations on an intelligence-gathering mission as Ada Wong

Co-op play and Crossover

• Play each campaign in either online or offline 2-player co-op, with each gamer taking control of one of the campaign's central protagonists
• In the game's key moments, when 2 pairs of protagonists come together, use the Crossover feature to play either online or offline 4-player co-op
